Bottle at the Priory Centre, St Neots. Dark copper/light brown. A fair bit of forced off-white head. Bready scent with very slight hints of stone fruits. Bittersweet taste, with caramel malt to the fore. Finish has a mire pronounced bitterness. Similar to the cask version but stripped of the subtleties.

Bottle. Pours a very clear dark brown color with a moderate light tan head on there. Nose seems to have quite a few grains coming through, and only a little grassiness on the nose. Taste is pretty light and only very slightly bitter, and hints of toasted caramel. OK, but nothing great.

Bottled. Clear brown color with small off white head. Aroma of prunes, honey. Light body, lively carbonated. Light sweet malty beginning with moderate fruity esters with dry finish and assertive bitterness. Some metalic tones in flavor. Easy to drink.
