Canned. pours deep red with a huge voluminous head. Other than the looks though, Bombardier was just plain dull, bit of malt, bit of hops, nothing special and a poor representation of the style. In my experience the more loud and obnoxious the advert the worse the product, perhaps I shouldn’t have been surprised then given the puerile cack of their latest Rik Mayall adverts?

500ml bottle into pint glass. 5.2% Golden bronze beer with solid rocky tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Aroma of smoky malt and burnt sugar. Light carbonation. Full bodied, flat mouthfeel. Initial bitterness is followed by subtle sweet malt notes then a final touch of dry peppery bitterness. Superior bitter, classic ESB.

The aroma and the taste is over the average. The appearance is stylish and modern. After 1-2 gulps my first impression was the delectable aftertaste.

Kicsi, de nagyon stabil hab. Rubin vörös sör. Illata enyhén karamelles-égetett cukros. Enyhe karamell, gyenge keserű, fűszeres ízvilág. Kissé lapos sör. Utóíze fűszeres, nagyon enyhén kesernyés. Közepesen testes.

330ml bottle from Systembolaget. Clear amber, off-white creamy head, some lacing. Malty toffee aroma, chocolate and grains. Smooth mid-dry mouthfeel. Malty taste, toffee, mild peppery notes and a mild floral bitter finish.

A good beer to drink anytime with a nice aroma. The palate sensation could be a bit stronger with a better body.

Piwo ciemne, przejrzyste, z rubinowymi refleksami. W aromacie karmel i trochę żelaza.

0.5 l bottle, 5.2% ABV, shared with my father. Amber color, quickly disappearing white head. The aroma is not so intense, some hops and malts. The taste however is way better, malty sweetness followed by bitter hops. Medium bitter finish. Soft carbonation, medium body. Nice drinking beer.

Bottle shared at home. Clear ligthbrown colour, white head disappear fast. Nose is malty, caramelly. Taste is medium bitterness, low sweetness. Definitve iron in the taste. Almost no carbonation. Watery. No palate, no taste, and faulty.

Luktar jord, fruktigt. Smakar lite fruktigt, lite lätt bränt och svagt smörkola. Ok bitter.
