Nice milky white head, amber body. Strange aroma (rotten grapes?). Something fruity in the flavor. Dry bitter palate.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
At first pour from the can the head was a nice thick cream colour. The beer has a strong scent of malt and hops. The flavour is good with a good bitter finish.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Assertive yet mild hop aroma. Pillowy white head on medium brown body. Somewhat harsh bitterness. Rather thin for an IPA. Can.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Dark reddsih amber colour. Good foam, which lasts. Nice looking beer actually. Good hop nose. The taste is notso good. I think the thin feel and lack of dryness in this "IPA" ruined it. Not a stellar beer.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Poured from a can.
Crystal clear amber ale. Medium-sized, ivory head with staying power.
Very doughy, lightly malty and citrusy aroma.
Fairly thin, watery flavor and mouthfeel, but well-balanced. Barely carbonated. Short, lightly bitter, dry finish with a touch of honey.

1.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Decent head. Copper coloured. Light on aroma. An OK pint for a UK ale but not of the IPA variety. Almost a sea salt and light citrus flavour to the mild hop flavour which does stay on the tongue for a while. A rare beer that rates lower as you drink it.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
salty hop aroma. Pours amber brown, mild carbonation. Head is foamy and off-white. Typical of English beers, flavour is bland. Light hops - English IPAs must be alot different then their North American counterparts. Salty and metallic aftertaste. A good pint for lads on the dole chatting up the birds.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
I gave this one a vigorous pour - I thought there was a widget in the can - there wasn't and it ended up with a 4" merangue head on it that took a few minutes to settle down. Malts were thin and sweet, hops were very mellow. As others have mentioned, this would make a fine pale ale, but it hardly qualifies as an IPA - not even an English version of it.
