Only seven ratings, and I pick this up in a small store in an outlying (but nouveau) area. Bottle from RoCo in West Sacramento, CA. Pours very dark and ruddy copper (strong light) with a slight beige head. Well the aroma is clearly toffee. Mayhap some graham flour. Med body, so itís not too thick. Flavor is toffee, graham, and I think coffee. At least a little dark fruit. Intriguing drink. Bet it would go well poured over vanilla ice cream.

Bottle. Poured clear brown color with an average to large frothy tan head that mostly lasted with moderate to excellent lacing. Moderate roasted malt and toffee aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Soft drinkable beer.

Bottled, 500ml from Co-Op in Coventry. Brown to amber with short head. A slightly unfortunate purchase as it highlight most of what I donít like in beer, sweet caramel toffee notes, heavy palate. My own fault really, but not good.

Bottle poured a clear reddish brown with a small lingering tan head. Aromas of toffee, cocoa and light cola. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of toffee, light caramel and a hint of cocoa with a smooth lingering toffee finish.

Bottle at home. Pours clear dark brown with a small, frothy off-white head, short retention with good lacing. Aroma is huge caramel and toffee nose, nutty and bread malt, raisins and dates with light vanilla notes, and faint earthy hops. Flavor is crisp and dry malt with a quickly dissipating sweetness, dark fruits, kettle caramelization, light hops and medium bitterness with a dry finish. Medium body and carbonation.

11.2 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a clear dark copper color with a thin frothy tan head. Good head retention. Aroma of caramel, toffee, burnt sugar and a hint of bitter hops. The taste is butterscotch, bitter hops, burnt sugar, toffee. Thin bodied, strong lingering bitterness, slightly off-balance.

Bottle. Pours dark brown with off white head. Nose/taste of toffee, caramel, fuggles, burnt sugar, pudding and a touch of bitterness in finish. Lighter medium body. Not bad.

330ml bottle. This tastes a lot like the dessert, huge toffee flavor, sweet, like a dessert. Good if you like "food" beers.

Just now. Bottle from Cov Ricoh. Should be an undrinkable mess but somehow itís....disappearing. Smells and tastes of Toffos, Werthers, Murray mints, Fudge Brownie Friij, Baileys....you get the picture. Traces of roast, toasted almond, almost beer in the finish. Fine tasting liquid no doubt.
