This is great tasting! I was worried they wouldn’t get the Toffee taste right, but they did. Definitely would recommend it.

Pours a brownish ruby red. Thick creamy head. Aroma is cream and toffee. Taste is sweet with a generous British bitter offset. The taste of toffee and vanilla is pronounced but not overdone. Another great dessert beer tastefully done by wells. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz bottle from Giant Eagle in Pittsburgh. A novelty and enjoyable for the same. Would have been a lot better with a sweeter and heavier taste of toffee.

Totally lives up to its billing. Strong toffee flavor, and I get the pudding part too. Yet, maybe just a tad too sweet. Nevertheless this one is fun. If uncomplicated.

Pours a clear brown in the glass. Aroma is simply... toffee. Awesome... Flavor is more toffee but not as sweet as expected. I’m surprised with this, I expected a very sweet beer but that’s not the case. Overall, waay better than expected. I’d buy it again...

Bottle at the Old Ship, Hammersmith.Lovely dark brass color. Spicy and sweet aroma. Rich pudding flavour, too. A dessert or another beer? Have both in one.

four pack shared with M.A .. . pours a dark brown copper .. medium foam head, mild lacing .. . lots of toffee, not overly sweet either. very british feel to it. .. if you go into it with a bit of fun, its great - coming from Wells, you have to expect a milder drink, so at least be prepared for that . .. .
Is it true that there’s a point on a man’s head where if you shoot it, it will blow up?

The name sounds interesting, so give it a try. Pours with a dark brown and clear color with completely no head whatsoever. The aroma is amazing. Sweet toffee/caramel smell with only just a tad of alcohol way in the back. The taste starts quite bitter, followed by a somewhat bitter-sweet combo, but more on the bitter side. I expected more sweetness and caramel to be fair. The aftertaste is very nice and caramely, followed by a slightly dry and roasted feel.

Ar: Deep caramel, treacle, a bit of hazelnut - nutty, bread crust, pineapple. Ap: Deep chestnut brown, clear - medium light tan head with good retention, leaves a bit of lace trail, a bubbly ring, and a thin foam layer. T: Caramel and toffee - rich, toasted malt - medium-low sweetness - low bitterness, with a slightly herbal hop flavor - toast and nougat, with a little leaf bitterness on the finish. P: Medium-light body with medium-high carbonation - finish is dry. O: This is really more of a nut brown ale, but a really nice one - great English yeast character and a big, flavorful, and solid malt backbone.
