Chestnut pour with a thin creamy to soapy beige head. Aroma is loaded with toffee and butterscotch, toast, a little cereal, light apple skin and hints of fruity and planty hops. Flavor is toffee, caramel, butterscotch, earthy yeast, light metal, tree fruit and some fruity, fuggles-like hops to the finish. Light body slightly syrupy entry, light, but sharp and very blanketing carbonation and a dry finish. Decent overall, too buttery and not sweet enough for all the buttery flavors.

Bottle at home. Aroma is vanilla, butterscotch, toffee, all things sweet. Thin bodied with high carbonation means it’s not "sticky". Great (if not slightly artificial) flavors of, well, sticky toffee pudding. Slight bitterness on the finish which is welcome. Gimmicky but a nice one off.

It does what it says. Thick brown poor, medium head. toffee smell and toffee taste. Bitter finish. There’s not much else going on here.

Sample from bottle at Winking Lizard. The beer pours dark brown with ruby around the edges. Patchy lacing on the glass. The aroma is toffee and malt. Light-bodied with flavors of sweet toffee, caramel malt and chocolate. The finish is sweet with a toffee aftertaste. Kind of one-note but that seems to be the intent. Decent overall.

Bottle... Pours clear and new-penny copper with a small, pillowy, mushroom-colored head. Good retention. The aroma is a melange of vanilla, caramel and toffee - it’s pretty much cream soda. Full-bodied with vibrant carbonation. The flavor is sweet and packed with vanilla and caramel - it’s cream soda as well. Vanilla and toffee in the finish. Malty and delicious overall. Decently balanced for a beer with the words "sticky" and "toffee" in its name.

Bottle from Dan Murphy’s February 2014. Two of my avourite thing together - beer and sticky toffee pudding. Could have had a bit more stick toffee flavour for my liking.

Pours mahogany with a small tan head. Smells of sweet, sticky maltiness. Taste is sweet, hints of earthy bitterness. Light-bodied with a wet texture and average mouth-carbonation, Wells Sticky Toffee Pudding Ale finishes with a quick fading sweetness.

Bit of a novelty, but quite a pleasant taste and not as sweet as you might expect. Dark nutty brown with longlasting brownish head. Aroma of caramel, nuts, liquorice. Taste starts a little flat but toffee hint at the end. Only a touch of sweetness but taste a little thin to be top class. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
