2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A bit unusual and ok golden ale. Clear orange golden color with an ok white head. Medium body and an average carbonation. Fruity, malty, some honey and herbal. Tad sweet and a moderate bitterness.

500ml Bottle from Bargain Booze, New Mills, Derbyshire.
Orange/amber with no head to report. Sugary honey in aroma and too prominent in taste. Nice concept but for me not one that works.

3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
A basic Aroma, nicely demonstrates the honey content, a faint spice and moderate earthy background.
In the Glass it is a genuinely light, clear honey colour with a small thin head.
A pleasant, slightly carbonated palate, sticky, slightly oily.
Tastes decent, fresh eathyness, moderate spice, sweet and floral and subtle but well integrated honey notes and mild hoppy malt.
Bears a light, refreshing finish with some subtle toasty mouth feel.
Highly drinkable stuff.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The bottle is beautiful like most Wells.
Has a dark gold color (such as honey) and a foam forming medium and remains in the cup for a reasonable time.
Your honey aroma is not as striking, perhaps too metallic, some floral hops, bread notes, malt and cereal biscoite confused.
Its taste has a light presence of honey, but little harmonized with the bread, malt and biscuit which brings a sweetness through malted with the presence of alcohol.
In the aftertaste the same feeling is present with confusing sweetness and a slight bitterness. Much expected this bitter, but does not compromise so much that not drinking with some pleasure. The beer has its taste and people should learn to appreciate the quality and not the quantity.
A median of beer for their Wells sisters, but in a nice spot to drink.
