3.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
An excellent example of a honey ale, not too sweet and a nice subtle aroma, probably one of the best examplke of this kind of ale

Bottle morrisons. Pours with athick white head leaves great lacing and a great golden amber colour . Aroma is week slight hops. Taste is weak hops with a dry finish tiny bit of sweetness. Medium body medium carbonation. Its very easy to drink which is suprising as quite high alchol. A good seesion beer. But would have expected more flavour of honey and smell.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Clear golden colour, small white head.
The honey is apparent in both nose and taste, very smooth finish.
Medium bodied beer with soft carbonation.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Aroma is nothing special, run of the mill really, hops but no detectable honey or sweetness at all. Looks lovely, clear golden honey like colour, thin head. Tastes quite average - but disappointingly, absolutely no honey. Feels quite soft and light. Lingering bitterness. Overall, disappointing. One would expect honey in a honey beer.

0.8 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
500 ml clear bottle, which may account for possible spoilage, otherwise an epic fail from Wells. Unclear orange yellow, off-white foam vanishes. Aroma of skunky sweet malt and citrus. Semi sweet funky buttery biscuit malt taste, no honey, flat and boring, vapid, insipid and bland, down the drain she goes. Blech. NFL (Not For Lagerboys)

2.1 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pretty typical British dry ale. Don’t really smell or taste the honey. Perhaps at the very very end of the finish there is a hint of sweetness. Just needed to drink a nice dry ale after Liverpool beat ManU and this was on hand. Nothing too special.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a golden clear beer with a good white head. Smells honey. Tastes little honey and pilsner like. Average carbo, thin body and a watery texture.

Donkergeel, goede kraag. Ruikt bitter en naar honing. Smaakt als bittere pils met een lichte honingsmaak. Niet echt lekker.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Now here’s a honey ale that has been as exciting as my first experience with real Saxon mead. Except for a fartsy whiff, this tastes like nothing. Water is much tastier and complex.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
England: South Littleton. This is a pretty bland golden ale without much to take it over the edge.
