2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - MAY 1, 2006
Pint pulled at The Alma in Wandsworth (London), a clear golden amber with only some film for head. Some honey in the aroma, but more musty than anything. A smokey mustiness in the flavour as well, some honey flavours left on the front of the tongue. Was very dry and also pretty ’flat’, maybe would have a bit more to it when fresh or from the bottle.
