austinpowers (2828), New York, New York, USA Dec 25, 2002 Updated: Jan 7, 2005 This is a sensational wheat dunkel, teeming with wheaty goodness. An absolute home run! Delicious. Terrific chocolate flavor. Not immensely hefe-ish, but enough that you’ll recognize it’s wheat-based.
DocLock (4170), Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 30, 2008 Pours turbid deep brown with 2-finger off-tan head. Nose is heavy Wheaties, brown sugar, figgy fruit. Tastes tart, brown sugary malty yet not sweet, with earthy, figgy fruity, yeasty spice, nuts, and some yeasty notes. Pwn3d (619), NYC, New York, USA Aug 31, 2008 Bottled, 16.9oz. Pours a hazy brown.. Mouth is caramel /toffee, wheat, and spice. A slightly above average dunkelweizen. Body was medium to full. azlondon (501), Greater London, England Jun 30, 2008 Appearance: Dark brown. Quite a lot of head. Cloudy.
Aroma: Wheaty, but not that bad. Bit of chocolate, actually.
Taste: Wheaty-ish. Maybe spicy. Not nice aftertaste.
