(Bottle at Weltenburger am Dom, 2013515) The beer poured brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had banana, clove and caramell. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were banana, malts, caramell, grass, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste had fruitiness, caramell and bitterness.

Cloudy brown color with small head. Aroma of hay, some caramel, a bit clove. Taste is light sour and light sweet. Medium body, oily texture, soft to average carbonation. I was expecting more.

Mahagony, Schaum satt. Würzmalziges Aroma mit Nelke. Im Antrunk weich und erfrischend zugleich. Im Geschmack Gewürznelke und Banane zum Abwinken. Klingt herb aus. Geiles HW Dunkel!

This beer came to save me from a day of bad Pilseners and worse Dunkles. This Dunkleweizen is packed with nice flavours of banana, cloves, cinnamon and Lebkuchen. Very Bavarian taste (well, Franconian). Thanks for being nice in an arrogant world where local beers are expected to be loved, blindly.

Bomber Bottle poured amber hue w/ a large, off-white frothy mostly diminishing head. Nice level of aroma of banana, clove, toasted grain, caramel. The flavor is identical to the aroma it is moderately sweet and faintly bitter. It finishes dry. Some tartness. Light body, watery texture, lively carbonation.
