Aroma is heavy malt (grain, hay, straw), light hops (flowers, herbs), heavy yeast (horse blanket, barnyard, earth) with notes of banana and grapes. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a chalky finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Oct 4, 2008 Bottle from Lee’s Discount. As good of a Hef as I have EVER had, and this includes Weihenstephaner in its heyday. Aroma of wonderful banana and honey; flavor of the same plus light, sweet wheat. Absolutely the best-kept secret in Hef. Man.
