Bottled: Golden coloured. Unclear. Huge white head lasting all through the beer. Fruit, banana, wheat, yeast in the aroma. Flavour of fruit, light citrus, spice and yeast. Is light acidic. Has a nice fruity sweetness in the end. This is a nice hefe.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hazy straw drink with a beautiful, creamy white head, this hefeweizen has everything going for it except the weakness of the taste. Nice subtle grass and banana aroma, too subtle the flavors of the same note, this is, I guess, a helles of a wheat beer.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Thought this was going to be a kristallweizen by the name: isn’t hefeweizen hell an oxymoron? My German is only high school. Clouded pale white ale-ish looks, good head formation. Bubblegum aroma but pretty mild. Sweet, minty palate, slight herbal spice, citric bitterness in the finish. Excellent refresher.

(on bottle) I like fudge, so I also like this beer, but I don´t belive that a hefeweize should have such a feel. Totally butterscotsh and I suspect a bad bottle or a bad taser(me) here.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Typical hefe aroma, pours a hazy yellow with a huge white head. Tastes quite spicy with some small hints of lemon and banana. Not much of a body. Quite refreshing for a hefe.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Beers of Europe. Pours a hazy yeloow colour with a sizable white ’dimply’ head. Spicy and yeasty, with faint bubblegum aroma. Spicey, citrusy taste again with slight bubblegum. Nice sour/spicey finish. Medium mouthfeel a bit thin at the end.
Not outstanding but very drinkable.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had this at the Bier Garden in Portsmouth VA on 8-7-04. Pours a rich amber colored body and is very clouded. Small foamy white head. Nose is slightly spiced and yeasty but I could swear I smell the ocean in it or something similar. Taste is mildly spicy with yeast, malt, and a sweeter note light sugar cookies. The standard bubblegum and banana are rather subdued in my bottle. Mouthfeel is full while being light enough to be refreshing. Finish is sort of a candied hefe mix. Weird but good!
