On tap. Hazy orange body, with a rich white head that diminishes slowly, leaving a good lace. Yeasty aroma, medium sweet taste, with notes of yeast, banana and bubblegum, but becomes very sweet as the beer gets warmer. Medium body, oily texture, soft to medium carbonation. Good hefe, nothing more, nothing less.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
My Bottom Line:
This lightly acidic Weissbier shines through floral arrangements and banana esters, while herbal hops and wheat blades offer depth.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam covers the cloudy yellow.
-The mild acidity increases drinkability.
-The big bubbles are expected, but almost get in the way for some reason.
-This is quite refreshing.
On tap at the kloster.

Quite fizzy, fruit salad, orange peel, vanilla, mild tart, sweet candy finish. Decent fruity weizen, maybe a tad too sweet and light-bodied.

Deep amber orange, hazy with a whitish head. Smooth, malty, a bit of orange and spice. Not bad, but not too memorable.

It’s a pretty good tasting beer from Belgium. Of course, I’m not at all familiar with the Northern European styles of beer, so I have no idea what it should taste like, or what I am tasting in the first place.

0,5 l bottle. Unclear pale yellow in the glass, steady head. Banana and yeast on the nose.Starts with banana and citrus, lightherb, yeast, more than mid carbonation. Wheaty chewing gum in the aftertaste. Refreshing. One of the better standard german Hefeweizen.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottled. Pours golden in color with a frothy off-white head. Later on the yeast provides the cloudiness to the color. Wheat and light fruityness in aroma mixed with coriander spicyness. Light fruity banana notes and hints of toffee sweetness in taste. Light rubbery sweet notes in aftertaste. A bit too mild on the whole, but otherwise quite good especially after pouring the yeast in the glass.
