I was truly floored by this beer when I had it out of a mini keg. The color dimensions of a sunrise. Hint of vanilla flavor.

4.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20 TBop (4) - SPAIN, SPAIN - JUL 8, 2009 does not count
This is a cracking beer - possibly the best weisen I have tried - though I must say I had a fantastic drinking session in Berlin last year and Schneider Wiesen Edel-Weiss may just tip it.
I guess my love for this beer is the fact that its readily available here in Spain in El Corte Ingles, thank god!
pours nicely with a gorgeous opaque amber body and good head - pepper and mild clove overtones, wonderful wheaty funk - taste is fantastic, delicately balanced and smooth with a crisp apply finish. A good example!

From a 1/2L bottle; poured with an immense, airy, boiling head of white foam. Hazy light orange and lightly carbonated. Solid banana yeast aroma, like a hefeweizen scratch-n-sniff. The first swallow is equally fruity, tart and tingly, heavily laced with a banana flavor, but also a swirl of pineapple, and fruit salad syrupiness. Textbook hefeweizen. (#2759, 3/27/07)

16.9 oz. bottle Chunks of sediment at end of pour, clouding the clear golden colour of this beer to a lovely dirty yellow. Clouds of fluffy foam on top, floral & citrus scents. Smooth and delicate, a great beer to begin the summer with.

Bottle from Lee’s Discount. As good of a Hef as I have EVER had, and this includes Weihenstephaner in its heyday. Aroma of wonderful banana and honey; flavor of the same plus light, sweet wheat. Absolutely the best-kept secret in Hef. Man.
