bee__R (31), Cantù, Italy Aug 23, 2008 50 cl bottle. Very rich and thick, white lasting head. Golden-yellow very clear. Sweete aroma, malty and caramel notes, but maybe too light; hint of honey and some faint hoopy notes on the background. The taste is more strong (not too much) and the malty sweetness is well balanced by a hoppy bitterness which remains in the aftertaste. Medium ody and lightly fizzy.
Very drinkable and relaxing. posikyle (163), Alabama, USA Aug 16, 2008 Bottle. Eh, not too bad. Pours out tan color, thick, smooth head. Aroma is all malts, flavor is very malty, with a little bit of sweetness in the middle and a slightly hoppy, crisp finish. One to buy on a hot day when you’re not looking for anything too complex. SHIG (1509), Oberoffligen, Germany Aug 3, 2008 Draught: Poured a golden clear color with white head. The aroma is grain with some maltness. Taste is sweet grain with clean crispness to it. Malt finish. yngwie (3529), Kristiansand, Norway Jul 30, 2008 Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a nice white head leaving lacings. Quite grainy on the nose, but for once in a pleasant way. Caramel too, but the aroma is a bit one-dimentional. Grainy and malty flavor with some caramel and some fruityness. Low on bitterness. Medium body and a finish with grains and caramel. A nice and refreshing beer, but too grainy and one-dimentional. (080708) EithCubes (1804), Indiana, USA Jul 19, 2008 Bottle. Malty aroma with sweet grass and lemon, just a touch of biscuit. Pours a somewhat sickly pale orange-golden with a creamy, densely rocky beige head. Light-bodied with a taste exactly as expected form the nose. A bit more caramel. This is a winner because of its waves of malt and light floral character - very refreshing, soft and relaxing, a great quaffer.
