Pours a slightly clouded gold with some creme head. Nose is heavily malted. Strong syrupy sugar character follows that. Flavor is malty with a strong sweetness and an underlying tone of bark or possibly a mild wood. Touch of smoke on there. Feel is bordering on syrupy. Drinkable, sure. A good brew. Nothing outstanding, but pretty solid all the same.

From bottle at Tjeldsundfergen, Oslo. Clear amber colour, white head. Rather neutral malt aroma. Malty flavours, some grassy hoppiness. Well-made, but uninteresting.

Bottle@Tjeldsund, Oslo. Firm, mostely lasting white head over a clear light amber body. Mild and distant aroma of sweet malts and caramel. Taste is malty, clean and rather mellow. Light body, watered down mouthfeel. Short semi-dry finish. Drinkable, but overall a bit neutral.

Big offwhite lasting head. Light amber body with light carbonation. Light roasty caramel aroma, quite faint. Dry sweetish lightly roasted caramel taste with rubbery notes. Dry, watery, grainy aftertaste. A bit dry and harsh, and chalky. Not too impressive. (0.5l bottle.)

50 cl bottle. Soft lager, rather sweet, I would almost say sticky. It could have done with some more hops IMHO.

500 ml bottle. Amber colour. For the most part clear. Lots of carbonation. Slightly nutty malt character. Definitely a lager. Crisp hop flavours and a gentle malt flavour. Light-bodied. Not my favorite, but decent.

(Tap) Pours a bright copper color with minimal head. Light toasted malts and grain in the aroma. Taste includes some toasted nut and an abundance of sweet caramel. Could have been more balanced. Palate isn’t too heavy, but in line with most Vienna syle lagers. Not a bad beer overall.

On tap. Clear orange golden in colour with small white head. Sterile with notes of metal, bread, butter and hops. Not very interresting.
