beeR (60) - Helsinki, FINLAND - AUG 23, 2008
50 cl bottle. Very rich and thick, white lasting head. Golden-yellow very clear. Sweete aroma, malty and caramel notes, but maybe too light; hint of honey and some faint hoopy notes on the background. The taste is more strong (not too much) and the malty sweetness is well balanced by a hoppy bitterness which remains in the aftertaste. Medium ody and lightly fizzy. Very drinkable and relaxing.

Bottle. Eh, not too bad. Pours out tan color, thick, smooth head. Aroma is all malts, flavor is very malty, with a little bit of sweetness in the middle and a slightly hoppy, crisp finish. One to buy on a hot day when you’re not looking for anything too complex.

SHIG (3832) - Wasilla, Alaska, USA - AUG 3, 2008
Draught: Poured a golden clear color with white head. The aroma is grain with some maltness. Taste is sweet grain with clean crispness to it. Malt finish.

yngwie (14762) - Kristiansand, NORWAY - JUL 30, 2008
Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a nice white head leaving lacings. Quite grainy on the nose, but for once in a pleasant way. Caramel too, but the aroma is a bit one-dimentional. Grainy and malty flavor with some caramel and some fruityness. Low on bitterness. Medium body and a finish with grains and caramel. A nice and refreshing beer, but too grainy and one-dimentional. EithCubes (5180) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 19, 2008
Bottle. Malty aroma with sweet grass and lemon, just a touch of biscuit. Pours a somewhat sickly pale orange-golden with a creamy, densely rocky beige head. Light-bodied with a taste exactly as expected form the nose. A bit more caramel. This is a winner because of its waves of malt and light floral character - very refreshing, soft and relaxing, a great quaffer.

50cl bottle. Pours clear gold with a fine creamy & full head. Lager malts & vague hops. Sweet bread & buiscuit. Well put together. Pleasant!

BBB63 (6364) - La Porte, Indiana, USA - JUL 6, 2008
Bottle and served in a pilsener glass: Deep golden hue with a lasting frothy head and left very nice lace upon the glass. The aroma has notes of grassy and herbal hops, vienna and pale malts, leafy, and some apple and pear esters. The taste is a tad sweeter (hint of honey) than the nose let on but hardly cloy. Some light handed hop bitterness adds balance. As Jordan just stated, there appears to a hint of rye bread towards the finish. The mouth feel is lively but mostly soft, dry finish and a touch chalky. Not too shabby and I bet it would even be better on tap. An easy way to start a Sunday.

BückDich (5464) - McCall, Idaho, USA - JUN 28, 2008
Bottle: Pours a golden amber color with a very light head and nearly no lacing. The nose is slightly sweet and toasty with some light biscuit and plenty of caramelized sugars. The flavor is doughy with some rye bread and more sugars. A thinner body and a little more zest than the Winter Traum but generally the same beer. Odd. The finish is a touch roasty, some honey and grassy hops touch and go rather abruptly but that’s about all.

thegreenrooster (3415) - St.louis, Missouri, USA - APR 16, 2008
Pour is a clear amber with an average white head. Aroma is sweet but very faint malts. Flavor is is again pretty light with some caramel malts and nothing else. This is very weak and watery and not worth the time.

Bottle picked up at the Alpine Village store in Torrence, California. Pristinely clear in the glass, golden, thin white clingy head. Sweet cereal malt aroma. Predominantly sweet in flavor, not cloying but simple and boring. Medium bodied with a foamy feel that finishes thin.
