From the 5 liter can. Nice amber color. A rich aroma of fruits, caramel, toffee. Thick, rich malt favor with tons of caramel, butterscotch, and toffee, fruits, a bit of cardboard. Smooth, mild. This started off fantasticly, but got very cloying as I worked my way through the pint.

500 ml bottle.
Pours a copper colour and a small white head. Aroma of sweet malts, light nuts and hay. Flavour of sweet and quite heavy malts, grains, nuts and light fruitiness. Low bitterness. Medium bodied, dryish mouthfeel and a malty, grainy and light bitter finish with light fruitiness. Nice Vienna with good drinkability.

Heh, I was right it is Vienna lager, nice light red tone, and nice thick white head. I found that his beer got some light taste of peanuts, nice selection of malt, gentle mixed with hops.

UPDATED: MAR 25, 2013 Bottle. Head is initially average sized, frothy, off-white, mostly lasting. Body is dark yellow. Aroma is lightly to moderately malty (toasted grain, cookie), lightly to moderately hoppy (flowers, apricot), with a light note of honey. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly to moderately sweet, lightly acidic, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. A touch on the sweet side, and the aroma is a bit docile, but I have to admit itís quite delightful...if the nose were more assertive and the finish more snappy, this could be a 4+ brew. And maybe when itís very fresh it is indeed at that level.

[10/4/11] Draught at ōlbaren in Copenhagen. Clear deep golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma of somewhat grainy malt. Sweetish flavor with some somewhat grainy malt and a slightly drier finish. Rather light-bodied.

Big offwhite lasting head. Light amber body with light carbonation. Light roasty caramel aroma, quite faint. Dry sweetish lightly roasted caramel taste with rubbery notes. Dry, watery, grainy aftertaste. A bit dry and harsh, and chalky. Not too impressive. (0.5l bottle.)

50 cl bottle. Soft lager, rather sweet, I would almost say sticky. It could have done with some more hops IMHO.

Bottle and served in a pilsener glass: Deep golden hue with a lasting frothy head and left very nice lace upon the glass. The aroma has notes of grassy and herbal hops, vienna and pale malts, leafy, and some apple and pear esters. The taste is a tad sweeter (hint of honey) than the nose let on but hardly cloy. Some light handed hop bitterness adds balance. As Jordan just stated, there appears to a hint of rye bread towards the finish. The mouth feel is lively but mostly soft, dry finish and a touch chalky. Not too shabby and I bet it would even be better on tap. An easy way to start a Sunday.
