Got great malts and hops, with a delicate arrangement of spices and some herbs

Deep golden colored, little vanishing white head. Sweet hopped, even estery aroma, some unclean tangy tone, maybe glue here. Medium bodied. Flavor is richer and cleaner with caramel and some papery dryness, this paper gets even stronger in aftertaste. Still lemon and sweet fruits last in aftertaste.

skortila (4537) - Baarn, NETHERLANDS - OCT 15, 2007
Aroma has grassy, skunky hops and some malts. Clear, copper coloured with a thin, lasting, off-white head. Taste is sweet with some grainy and grassy hops and malts. Dry finish. Not really bad or good, but boring.

Golden color; creamy head. Aroma of breadcrumbs and cereals. Simple flavor, with some malt, rather dry. Ordinary bitterness. Uninteresting.

Draught: Poured a golden clear color with white head. The aroma is grain with some maltness. Taste is sweet grain with clean crispness to it. Malt finish.

Embrouille (2827) - SWITZERLAND - JUL 12, 2009
Bottled 50cl. Courtesy of Quack-Duck. It pours a beautiful clear deep copper beer with a creamy persistent off white head. Earthy aroma of raisin, caramel, bread crust, barnyard and dog food pellets which is accentuated by the malt. Sweet malty taste. Medium bodied. A lot of raisins and caramel showing up. Low carbonation and bitterness. Nice lacework. Faintly astringent, especially on the swallow. Surprisingly dry finish which is reminiscent of raisin, caramel and a huge amount of bread crust. This beer really tastes artisanal. Thanks a lot Quack-Duck!

Bottle, bought @ METRO, Kolding.
Pours clear golden with a nice, creamy, off-white head. Fine, light lacings. Aroma is rather grainy, light hay and some sweet, unfermented malts. Light carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is light sugary, bready malts. The finish is fine and hoppy with grass, hay and a little pine. Still too sweet, though.

from beerangel.de - clear golden-bronze colour with a solid white foam; aroma of corn and paperboard, some lactic tones; nice lace, slightly oily and medium-bodied, sweet and with some tartness; quite rough bitterness before a corny, paper-like finish

UPDATED: OCT 16, 2006 The aroma has cereal malt, yeast, and some herbal hops. The appearance is orange-gold with a two finger head that fades fast. The flavor is like the aroma. The palate is thin. Overall it’s drinkable but not one I would have often.
