UPDATED: JUL 26, 2012 Bottle picked up at Beertopia Omaha, opened in Exira, Iowa. Clear, dark orange appearance with a big white head. Grainy, husky, light corn crib, light cobweb, hay aroma. Fuck this reminds me of my grandparent’s, farm five clicks away. Crisp grainy, fairly fruity, a bit dry, grainy flavor. Pretty easy to drink but there’s a bit of awkwardness between the grainy, straw elements and the fruit elements. Tried again in the bottle in Germany. A bit better this time around but nothing special.

Pours a clear gold-amber with a 2-finger white head. Smells of malts - bread, caramel, nuts. Taste is moderately sweet with a bit of bitter, more malt than hops

Malzig fruchtiges Aroma. Runder Geschmack. Bittere im Nachgang ausgewogen. Lecker, vielleicht ein bisschen zu fruchtig.

Bottled. Pours clear golden with a frothy whitish head. Lots of bready malts and some summer meadow in aroma. Hay, sweet maltyness and toasted bread in taste. Clean but tasty brew.

Bottle, pours a crystal clear red-brown, honey-malt and a little fruit on the nose, faint hints of lemon and pine, crisp palate brings dry-sweet honey, a little toasted malt, light touches of golden fruit, delicious.

The color is more of a golden than amber with white head which disappears quite fast. With strong honey aroma and taste not that much bitterness and medium body. It was quite a neat beer.

500ml bottle from Hipercor. Feb-2014.
In short: a sweet lager.
Pours quite clar amber-orange, with nice white head. Poor head retention and lacing. Malty, caramel, fruity aromas. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Taste is quite sweet, malty, grassy, some fruity notes, Smooth and balanced. Enjoyable.
