punainen6 (78), Finland Jun 23, 2008 50cl bottle. brown almost black color with a creamy brown head. Smells of roasted malts, bread. Taste is robust and thick, almost like a meal. Distinctly tastes of bread, malts and chocolate. Not the best but really enjoyable.
IlanMan (571), Winona, Minnesota, USA Oct 5, 2008 Pour is dark brown with a light tan fizzy head. Aroma is malty with sweet butter, brown sugar, and dark fruit. Flavor is sweet roasted malt, light chocolate, biscuits, and goodness. Very smooth carbonation. I also got a bit of toffee characters throughout the brew. Very solid beer. Would buy again. tlind2 (262), Helsinki, Finland Sep 28, 2008 500 ml bottle. Deep brown color, creamy tan head. Very appealing sweet aroma with some raisins. Wickedly smooth taste with a chocolaty finish, full body. Great! I’ve had one of those runs of beers where I thought sod trying something new, lets go back to the old favourites, then this little belter came along. Dark brown with a hint of red with a creamy beige head. Dark fruit cake with a roasted kiss. Very nice indeed and will certainly have again. daniele (822), Italy Sep 24, 2008 scura buona schiuma persistente il naso è intenso fruttato leggero caramello miele di castagno in bocca morbida fruttata piena piuttosto intensa non molto amara leggera tostaura
