BückDich (4791), McCall, Idaho, USA Aug 19, 2006 Bottle: Mahogany ruby color, light head and light lacing. Nose of raisin, plum, sweet wort and clean yeast and hops. The flavor is balanced, decent body and a nice rye toasty dark bread quality. The finish is nicely balanced with some sweetness. Good dark toffee and medium grain malts. IndianaRed (1553), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 18, 2006 Bottle Pours a dark chestnut brown witha medium tan head and thin sticky lacing. Aroma was very nice sweet woody and carmely malt ensemble. Flavor I thought was lacking much of anything. Slightly roasted and dark but papery and slightly astringent. Dissapouinting after the big tease in the aroma. Feel was a bit thin and the carbonation was fairly soft. Thanks Buch Dich for this one. BuckeyeBoy (1645), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 17, 2006 Bottle pours out a very nice Dark amber color topped a creamy tan head. Malty and sweet with some roast on it as well. Not too interesting. Magjayran (1379), Durham, North Carolina, USA Aug 5, 2006 Very dark brown color with a medium sized tan head. Great lacing. Big malty aroma with hints of dark fruit. Flavor is a malty and a little thin. Not something that envokes a strong reaction but rather refreshing. bager (2121), Copenhagen N, Denmark Jul 27, 2006 On tap.
