28/01/2013 Brasserie 4:20 (tap). Bevuta al Deutsche Beer Festival. Ambrata carica, riflessi miele, limpida, schiuma biancastra normale, non molto persistente. Al naso malto, leggero tostato, leggero caramello, una punta leggermente sporca. In bocca è dolciastra, con note di caramello e leggero tostato, moscia, niente di che. Corpo medio, carbonazione normale. Appena sufficiente.

Bottle. Clear brown with a nice big, beige head. Aromas of cacao, toffee and espresso. Taste is bitter and a bit spur at first, then goes over to a short sweetness with a prolonged bitterness. Average carbonation with watery texture. Aftertaste with much chocolate and coffee. Weltenburger brews really good beers, until now I´ve never been disappointed by them.
