Aroma rich malt, dark toasty, slight chocolate, nutty, .very nice rich malt sweetness. Low bitterness, no off aromas or flavors...rich brown looking with tan head. Nice easy drinking rich dunkel. More rich malt flavor would be nice..a bit stale.

Fules (833) - Gyöngyös, HUNGARY - OCT 21, 2016
Közepes, nem túl tartós bézs hab, barna szín. Enyhe, karamelles, pörkölt malátás, csokis, aszalt gyümölcsös illatok. Karamelles, aszalt gyümölcsös ízvilág, kakaós beütéssel. Barna sör létére elég könnyed, persze egy cseppet sem vizes. Enyhén szénsavas, alig keserű. Nagyon kellemes, jól összehangolt sör.

Train tick after pubcrawl with massive thanks to top100deanso. Clear brown with fluffy light tan head. Sweet chestnut and roasted dark malts. Medium sweet and more bitter. Medium body, slightly watery, creamy, bittersweet finish. Quite dry feel.

Gran Cerveza. "Suaves y equilibrados sabores donde esta cerveza destaca, al sorprender con un toque “stout” al paladar, algo a lo que no nos tienen acostumbradas las cervezas de Múnich ni las típicas cervezas de abadía (o monasterio), en el que reconocemos las maltas tostadas y caramelizadas y matices de café, siendo poco seca y apagándose paulatinamente en el paladar" El Jardín del Lúpulo

Bottle. Pours a mild red-brown with a medium, light tan, lacy head. Nose is a veritable fruitcake -- nuts, brandy-soaked dried fruit, pastry flour, spices. On the tongue, it bursts with sweetness and nuttiness; complex and rich, much deeper than most American dunkels (and for that matter, most German ones). Multiple layers of flavor; there’s a wine-like complexity to it. Finishes long, with notes of smoked fig. Really good.

A következő nyakatekert okoskodást ötlöttem ki: olyan mint egy barokk esküvő, egy kis copf-fal (nem fru-fru) és rokokóval elegyítve, de még mindenképp a klasszicista jegyek nélkül.

SanfordBrewer (1505) - Sanford, Florida, USA - AUG 23, 2016
hazy brown with creamy tan head. creamy full body with moderately high carbonation.

aroma: dark bread crust, coffee, cacao, stone, wood ash, earthy floral leafy hops.

taste: faint char and acidic notes from roasted grains, bready malt sweetness, dark bread, floral hops, same melanoidin-rich finish as the helles.

Not as quaffable by itself as the helles, but would most likely stand up better to the richness of most bavarian dishes.
