Reddish brown, light head formation. Molass/soy/fishy aroma> fruity front palate, with a licorice and chocolate second half. Slight meatiness in the finish. Drinks relatively easily.

Toasted caramelly malt nose, dark amber color, low tight head. Nice roasted malt body with toffee flavors turning tobacco-like toward the end. Thinish and fizzy. Nice rounded blend of taste in an accessible dark beer.

Caramel and brown sugar aroma, auburn, pours a nice toffee head. Roasted malts, treacle and almonds all play a role in the taste. Medium bodied, balanced and pleasantly bitter. Very good. Thank You Radek Kliber.

Dark ruby in color and with caramel and some coffee/chocolate tones, but much lighter in respect to what I had anticipated. Good malt characteristics coming through, but perhaps muted in comparison to many other Bavarian beers. Very nice and very drinkable.

A nutbrown beer with a small head. The aroma is sweet, wheaty, nutty, and brewmashy. The falvor is very brewmashy you can almost taste the straws of the grain - it is pretty carbonated and bitter with hints of woodiness. The aftertaste is a good slightly smoked lingering bitterness. The palate is both light and heavy - a very complex beer.

Clear, amber beer. Beide head. Lasting and lacing. Has a nice malty, slightly burnt aroma. Flavor is malty too, perhaps a bit salty. Finish is bitter.

Up to now the best Dunkel I have had. To really enjoy it go to the Biergarten in Kelheim

Amber with a nice offwhite head. Milky vanilla aroma with nuts and some fruity notes. Malty, fruity flavor with some raisins. Maybe it lacks some body.
