Roasted malts, treacle and almonds all play a role in the taste. Medium bodied, balanced and pleasantly bitter. Very good. Thank You Radek Kliber. fly (1334), austin, Tejas, USA

Good malt characteristics coming through, but perhaps muted in comparison to many other Bavarian beers. Very nice and very drinkable. Ungstrup (15495), Frederiksberg, Denmark
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 25, 2003 A nutbrown beer with a small head. The aroma is sweet, wheaty, nutty, and brewmashy. The falvor is very brewmashy you can almost taste the straws of the grain - it is pretty carbonated and bitter with hints of woodiness. The aftertaste is a good slightly smoked lingering bitterness. The palate is both light and heavy - a very complex beer. Hansen (2357), Randers, Denmark
