500ml bottle from Systembolaget Linköping. Crystal clear, amber-gold body. Off-white head, spotty lacing. Mild aroma of gentle malts. Smooth and clean tasting of bread-like malts followed by bittersweet lemony hints towards the ending. Oily textured. Foamy in the mouth. Well balanced. Very refreshing after a long working day (hotel room, 14.09.2010).

Bottle from Systembolaget. Copper clear beer with a tall white head. Malty and hoppy aroma. Quite strong sweet malty taste with a hoppy ending. Very well balanced. Oily mouthfeel and medium body. The best oktoberfestbier I’ve tasted so far.

Oktoberfestöl! Bottle 10 C, 2009-09-06 AP: Pilsner coloured body, big bubbles in the foam the gives a nice apperance. AR: pilsner, my friend Tidde insists that there is some fruitiness there! F: watery pilsner, this one was not so funny AF: see above Ps. the label was nice...

Frovigalning (2930) - Örebro, SWEDEN - SEP 13, 2009
It poured a clear dark golden liquid with a very small foam. It had a weak smell of white bread. The taste was also weak and had some white bread. It wasn’t very smooth and had a stingy bitterness to it. Overall boring and not very good.

OleR (4786) - Oslo, NORWAY - SEP 12, 2009
0.5 L bottle from Systembolaget, Charlottenberg. Big bluffy offwhite head. Deep gold colored body with brilliant clarity. Aroma of freshly baked bread. Some doughy malts, faint caramel and a pleasant whiff of grassy hops. Taste is malty, well rounded and soft. A light sweetness, some caramel and fruit tones, and fine, slight peppery bitterness to balance. Healthy body. Smooth. Rounded malty finish, evenly balanced with a gentle hop bitterness. A flawless festbier!

Marsiblursi (2993) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - SEP 5, 2009
UPDATED: SEP 6, 2009 (Bottle) Pours clear medium amber with foamy white head. The aroma holds tones of grainy cookies, fresh “sweaty” wood and buttery toffee up front. Undertones of dark bread, spices and ripe red apples. Hints of dough. Subtle hops lurking in the background. Maybe a touch of citrus. The flavour is light to medium sweet, light to medium bitter and light acidic with clear notes of toffee and cookies. Hints of spices, dark bread and flowers. The mouthfeel is clean, chewy and round with a medium carbonation. Hints of citrus and wood in the finish. Medium bodied. The loveable malt profile + the fresh acidic note makes this beer a perfect treat.
