Very old-school. A lingering head on a hazed yellow body of liquid. Malt forward with a defined hop presence. Tastes very old world. Excellent.

Seit 1050. Grassy malty semi sweet hops. Light head, slightly skunky. Decent flavor nothing too special as far as german beers go but the recipe has history so you gotta try it once.

Maris (1109) - Canberra, AUSTRALIA - MAR 25, 2012
From a 500ml bottle on 25/3/2012 (shared with Pat Janek). Pours a light golden with little head. Not much aroma to speak of, just a mild grassy, maltiness. Flavour wise, there’s a good dose of malt and some firm hop bitterness at the back. A solid, enjoyable pils.

500ml bottle into pilsner glass. A bright golden clear beer with a medium white head. Grainy sweet malts on the nose with some grassy hop elements. A well balanced North German pilsner taste with a decent dry hop finish. Medium-light body and not too gassy making it easily sessionable.
