Meh, itís fine, does everything a pilsner should do I guess. Smells normal, looks normal, tastes as you expect it too. I wasnít blown away by this but nor was I disappointed. Solid, dependable you might say.

Nice thick white head over a pale golden body. Grassy and fruity aroma, extremely volatile at pouring. Sweet hops at first touch, with a developing bitterness. Nice grassy aftertaste. Very small bubbles, but fizzy palate makes a very refreshing but full bodied pils. Thumbs up !

UPDATED: MAY 13, 2008 Aroma hops and light malt, boring. Good sized, long lasting, white creamy head. Clear straw-yellow and amber hue. Good palate; soft, slightly oily, low carbonation, with long lasting bitter finish. But neutral and bland initial flavour blending to a strong bitter hop finish. Boring and simple, lacks flavour. Perhaps Iím just not a pilsner fan. Not worth paying premium for this import.

Pours clear pale yellow with a big foamy white head which recedes too quickly but leaves nice lacing. Aromas are biscuity, grainy malts and muted floral Saaz hops. Maybe a touch of honey. The beer is crisp, clean, and light bodied. Same grainy maltiness from the nose, and the faintest hop bittering. A little mineraly? I expect more from this brewer.

Good lace and white head. SRM around 3-4 nice and yellow. Medium high carbonation. Aroma is malty along with flavor, the later subsides to a balanced light hop finish. Sligly dry more from hop bill rather than mash... good session beer. Cheers

Very sweet aroma, but strangely bitter flavor. Enjoyable and somewhat light, slight bit of lacing from head.

This beer yellow to light gold with a white foamy head. It beer has a nice grassy hop filled nose. The flavor is mostly plain, perhaps a somewhat grainy, with a slightly dry and bitter finish.

A very nice pils in the Bavarian style. Pours a nice, deep golden color, with a beautiful head that lasts until the very end. Good hop nose, slightly grassy, but lots of fresh baked bread aroma as well. Good barley malt flavor, with a nice bit of tangy hops parading along. Light bitterness for a pils, which is typical of a "pils" from this area of Germany. Overall, very, very good! On a side note, I liked this far better than the dunkel, which I felt fell far short of the mark for a German dark beer.

Poured from a bottle, the fairly dense foam rises nicely, not overly carbonated. There is just a bit of lacing. The head dies down to about 1/2" after 2-3 minutes to almost nothing after that. Very pale yellow in color. Smells more malty than most pilsners. Tastes more malty than most pilsners, as well. A bit of a malt / fruit / yeast aftertaste, but fairly mild. Decent beer but not ultra smooth like others in this category.
