3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pale straw yellowy, ugh. With a surprisingly appetizing fluffy white head that leaves clumps of foam lace.
Sweet light and Pils malts mix with whiffs of heavy carbonation, slight grassy and floral hop impression.
Slightly sweet and grainy biscuity malt with light floral hop bittering. Subtle.
Smooth and almost creamy moderate carbonation make this light bodied Pils extremely drinkable.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
On tap. Yellow-golden body, with a rich white head that slowly diminishes, leaving a fair lace. Nice grassy, floral aroma at the start, but as the beer gets warmer, notes of skunk begin to appear. Light bitter taste, with notes of grass, but very watery. Very watery texture, soft to medium carbonation, thin body. For me, not the best example of a german pils, had much better ones.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
average appearance, smelled pretty good though.. initially taste is good for a pilsener but palate is slightly stale - mightve had something to do with the expiration date 5 years ago though

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 15/20
50 cl bottle; served in Nastro Azzurro glass.
Golden w/ decent head. Pleasant, inviting, softly hoppy aroma. Nice, very clean, well-balanced taste w/ a fine hop presence. Ultra-smooth, luxurious mouthfeel.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Bread, grassy hop aromas. Sublte malt flavor with a sharp bitterness but still satisfying. Very crisp finish with lingering sour bitterness.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pretty standard pils, but quite nice all the same. Good use of saaz, went down the hatch ok. What more can I say? Any sublety lost on me a bit though. I guess I don't really get into pilsners too much...

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
A: Poured with a large, frothy white head that diminished slowly to 1/2-finger size or so. Body is bright yellow and mostly clear, with a slight haziness to it. A very good-looking pilsener.
S: Aroma, however, is pretty fluent with cooked corn. A slight bitterness lingers.
T: Despite how attractive it looks, this is a pretty basic pilsener in terms of flavor. Cooked corn again. Crisp, slightly dry finish.
M: Light-to-medium bodied with a slightly creamy texture, and average-to-soft carbonation.
D: Easy to get down at first, but the corn becomes a little sickening by the time you’re through. I don’t think I’d rush to get it again.

3.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
It pours a pale yellow color with a creamy white head. There is a tiny amount of carbonation and small spots of lacing.
The aroma has the standard pil elements. Some grains some yeasty notes
The flavor actually has a creamy feel too it for a pilsner. I am getting a good dose of grains and some sweet malt.It is well balanced
It finishes with a little dry and some grassy bitterness. To be honest I find pil’s to be somewhat boring sometimes. But this is something I would reach for again.

2.7 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 16/20
Honestly, not the best pilsener I’ve had. A little bit of unpleasant bitterness in the hops.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
This isn’t a bad pilsener, however I probably wouldn’t buy it again because it is too bitter for the amount of flavour it contains - the bitterness tends to dominate more than it should. Still a pleasent drink though.
ADDED 1 December: It seems Oakes is complaining about people rating pilsner beers low due to their bitterness. I realise this is the style buht in my opinion the bitterness here is too dominant.
