50 cl bottle; served in Nastro Azzurro glass.
Golden w/ decent head. Pleasant, inviting, softly hoppy aroma. Nice, very clean, well-balanced taste w/ a fine hop presence. Ultra-smooth, luxurious mouthfeel.

Fresh grassy and aromatic hop aroma.
Golden, microscopic bubbles, lacing white head.
The flavor has an overall field theme: Low level Hayish malt isbase for a nice grassy hop profile.
Medium body, soft mouthfeel with a bit of tickling carbonation. Dry bitterhop exit.
A quite nice pils.

500ml bottle. Pours a clear lighter yellow straw color with a fantastic tall dense but airy frothy white head, the kind that’ll stick around and leave you a mustache. Aroma is slightly tangy at first, sharp, fruity, some apple, grassy, becomes doughy after a while. Flavor is typical Weltenburger subtlety, extremely well balanced, soft and quaffable, some sharp slightly tart apple, a bit doughy, herbal, lemon-grass, finishing super clean, yeasty with medium bitterness. A perfect palate, medium/light bodied, soft carbonation with a faint sizzle, super clean but with enough substance to make it worthwhile. Great dry finish. This makes me crave pizza.

Poured from a bottle, the fairly dense foam rises nicely, not overly carbonated. There is just a bit of lacing. The head dies down to about 1/2" after 2-3 minutes to almost nothing after that. Very pale yellow in color. Smells more malty than most pilsners.
Tastes more malty than most pilsners, as well. A bit of a malt / fruit / yeast aftertaste, but fairly mild. Decent beer but not ultra smooth like others in this category.

A very nice pils in the Bavarian style. Pours a nice, deep golden color, with a beautiful head that lasts until the very end. Good hop nose, slightly grassy, but lots of fresh baked bread aroma as well.
Good barley malt flavor, with a nice bit of tangy hops parading along. Light bitterness for a pils, which is typical of a "pils" from this area of Germany. Overall, very, very good!
On a side note, I liked this far better than the dunkel, which I felt fell far short of the mark for a German dark beer.
