excellent appearance of amber colour and huge, long lasting, dense off-white head; aroma of bread, grassy hoppyness hints of honey and flowers;taste is the same; easy to drink, though less christmassy compared to a belgial christmas beer

Pours out of the bottle in a clear deep amber colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of vanilla and caramel. Taste of mild hops, grains, caramel, honey, hay and flowers. Easy to drink yet not that nice like expected or hoped. Okay.

Bottle (ABV 5,4%). Deep golden color, airy white head. Slightly metallic flavor with nutty notes. Medium body, medium carbonation. A big disappointment considering how good their bock and dunkel are.

0.5l bottle shared with Inbreak and abmorsten @ Amudsen. This is a clear deep golden one, some few unfiltered particles in the glass and a small light lacing and islandy off-white top. The nose is not extreme, not to wheat like either to be honest. More cardboard. The wet type. Lots of wet corn and definitely some sweet caramel here. It has a light thin oily mouthfeel and a just below average carbonation level. A slight sourness in the taste that’s putting me a bit off but it fades. It’s really lacking on bitterness but what it’s lacking there it catches up with in the sweetness. Have to admit that I won’t be remembering this beer to long for its flavor. 24.05.2013

Bottle from Bierzwerg!
Pours dark amber colored with flat, soapy head. Smell has lots of dark malts and some dark red fruits. Some licorice in the background. Starts with dark roasted malts and some caramel, paired with tart red fruits. Middle part has some fruity hoppiness, again paired with lots of dark malts. Finish is malty-bitter, very dry, slight fruity-tart.
