Color is a bright gold with very good carbonation and a big tight white head. Aroma is sweet with a grain scent. Taste is light and crisp. Starting with a light medium body it goes down crisp. Finish has a watery vanilla ice cream like taste with a malty caramel flavor and then a little bitterness. After taste is clean with a bitter Germen hop taste. This is a decent Vienna but a bit weak for a winter brew.

This pours light yellow or orange with a little straw aroma. This is watery and a typical german winter beer. There is a bit of bitterness on the end.

Bottle from Arden Wines, 5.4%. Bronze pour spiralling with effervescence. Head plump and rocky, mouth bulbous with silk and biscuit, glass woolly with froth. Disarming fresh gust of Munchen hay, honey, herb and biscuit. Sniff of sultana. FRESH freshbread malt, nibble of pinecone, honey slickness, appetising noble bite, just-baked biscuit linger. So very clean and elegantly Germanic. Oh yes. More than a bit tasty.

Bottle. Pours clear orange with a small, fizzy, off-white head, mostly diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt -hay, straw-, average hops -flowers, grass-, average yeast -horse blanket, earth- with notes of grape and apple. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a metallic finish. Average duration, light sweetness, acidity, and bitterness.

Pours a pale amber with a decent white head that sticks around and laces the glass. Aroma is wet bread and spice. Taste is bread dough, sweet malt and caramel. Pretty simple, but very tasty and drinkable.

In my opinion I’ve got a bad sample...I can feel the odds of a good perfume and a better taste, but an unpleasant character put the good things down. An unpleasant young beer character kills the fine caramel flavor and character...I have a regret about that beer...

500 mL bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours a reddish amber color with a medium head, low head retention and average lacing. Toasted malt aroma with subtle caramel and hop notes. Toasted malts in the taste also with some green apple, caramel and hops. The hops are slightly more assertive in the taste but are still pretty much in the background. Medium bodied. Very nice.

Pours a really nice orange/redcolor with little to no head. Aroma is some malt, but nothing overwhelming. Flavor is malty, a little sweet and very very smooth. A little on the bland side, but easy to drink and not bad at all.
