bhensonb (8995) - Woodland, California, USA - FEB 2, 2008
Bottle from Liquid Solutions. Aroma of caramel accompanied by fruity notes - going from plum towards prune in a mild manner. Burnished copper color - it changes with lighting, and a white head that flattened, ringed and disappeared. Medium bodied with mild, fizzy carbonation. Body thins as carbonation departs. Flavor is malty/bready, balanced by decent bitterness. However, the fun thing is the fruit that dances around the hop and malt. I still find light plumminess. Perhaps they used floral hop. The finish is slightly drying, and the bitter stays around. It is just delightful.

Bottle provided by Dortmunder - many thanks!. Amber color. Malt and chocolate in the aroma. Bitter chocolate flavor. Hint of raisin. Rather thin. Malty, chocolate and bitter aftertaste.

madsberg (8819) - Søborg, DENMARK - NOV 30, 2003
Bottled: Clear golden coloured. Huge white head. Malts and sweetness in the aroma. Sweet and malty with a vague hopaccent in the flavour. A little boring I think. Has a nice bitterness in the end. Smooth and bland.

Tmoney99 (8784) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - MAR 11, 2009
Bottle from Keg Liquor. Poured clear dark copper color with an average frothy off-white head that mostly lasted and produced good lacing. Moderate grassy hop aroma. Medium body with a syrupy texture and soft carbonation. Moderate to heavy sweet flavor with medium sweet finish of moderate duration. The beer goes well with spicy food.

Test vom 16.1.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 11,11,9,7,13,11 - 10,20

Bov (8204) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - AUG 8, 2009
from beerangel.de - clear dark amber colour with a little slightly beige foam; notes of red fruits and chewy malts; sweet and medium-bodied, clean palate, slightly fruity and flowery finish - not bad at all

pivnizub (8000) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - NOV 14, 2005
Bottle: Copper coloured, thin, fluffy off-white head; malty nose (caramel&faint traces of molasses) with a touch of aromatic(!) hops; slightly sweetish malty taste in the beginning, becoming quickly dryer in the mouth; mild bitter flavour; malty and fruity finish with a moderate bitterness; well balanced, well drinkable !

MoritzF (7756) - Bochum, GERMANY - NOV 2, 2005
(bottle) Clear copper colour with a foamy slightly off-white medium head. Dusty slightly sweet malty aroma with lemon peel. Light sweet fruity flavour, medium body. Smooth sweet malty taste, drying out towards the finish; slightly bitter and hoppy aftertaste with a consistent and almost complex malts character. A tasty seasonal brew, nothing great but well quaffable.

Ratman197 (7623) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - DEC 28, 2005
.5 liter bottle poured a clear amber with a small, lasting amber head. Aromas of sweet malt, carmel, and a hint of fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of sweet malt, carmel, and dried fruit with a semi dry, sweet, lingering finish.
