.5 liter bottle poured a clear amber with a small, lasting amber head. Aromas of sweet malt, carmel, and a hint of fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of sweet malt, carmel, and dried fruit with a semi dry, sweet, lingering finish.

500ml botte (Angleterre, Helsinki)
Metallic aroma - copper. Some malts too. ich orange, large off-white head. Pleasant sweet malty taste. Sweet caramelly body, smooht, crisp carbonation. Finish starts caramelly, then hits hazelnut and walnut. Hint of something mushroomy too. Very easy drinker, but a bit sweet maybe. Nice winter beer, I guess.

pivnizub (8591) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - NOV 14, 2005
Bottle: Copper coloured, thin, fluffy off-white head; malty nose (caramel&faint traces of molasses) with a touch of aromatic(!) hops; slightly sweetish malty taste in the beginning, becoming quickly dryer in the mouth; mild bitter flavour; malty and fruity finish with a moderate bitterness; well balanced, well drinkable !

Bottled. A rich amber coloured beer with an off-white head. The aroma is fairly bready sweet malty. Caramel and bread sweetness in the taste. A nice body and pretty nicely tasty.

MoritzF (8250) - Bochum, GERMANY - NOV 2, 2005
(bottle) Clear copper colour with a foamy slightly off-white medium head. Dusty slightly sweet malty aroma with lemon peel. Light sweet fruity flavour, medium body. Smooth sweet malty taste, drying out towards the finish; slightly bitter and hoppy aftertaste with a consistent and almost complex malts character. A tasty seasonal brew, nothing great but well quaffable.

Drake (7950) - Free Union, Virginia, USA - NOV 27, 2008
500 mL bottle from Wine Warehouse. Pours a reddish amber color with a medium head, low head retention and average lacing. Toasted malt aroma with subtle caramel and hop notes. Toasted malts in the taste also with some green apple, caramel and hops. The hops are slightly more assertive in the taste but are still pretty much in the background. Medium bodied. Very nice.

Red/brown with a small white head. Aromas are sweet malty and doughy with hints of fruit. Flavours are sweet and malty with a roast character, bready dough and some smokiness coming through. Has rich winter fruit, quite Xmassy. Quite light on the finish but all up to that point is very good.

bottle, thank you pivnizub. Amber-golden yellow, large beige head. Malty nose. Full-bodied, pleasantly malty with a touch of caramel and spicy hops in the finish. Shy hint of apple present.

DocLock (7502) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2007
Bottle from State Line. Pours hazy deep copper with 2-finger off-white head. Aroma of heavy Wheaties dipped in almond, with some toffee and mild spicy hop notes. The palate was medium heft, with flavors of grainy malty Wheaties, some caramelly toffee-like hints, and mild fruit and hop notes. Gets a bit more tart and hoppy as it warms.

Rune (7361) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JAN 5, 2013
Many thanks to Finn for a 500ml bottle, 5.4 % abv, of this one. Beautiful appearance with a decent, almost white coloured body fading slowly on top of a crystal clear, golden brown coloured body. Lace sheet to the glassware. Smooth aroma of caramel malts, herbs and grain. Malty flavour containing caramel, nuts, earth, herbs and almond. Dry malty finish. A warming, malt-accented beer that fits the season (Tromsø, 04.01.2013).
