2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours reddish copper with a head that disappears quickly. Malty aroma is pretty mild; flavours of hay, bread and some herbs. Taste is crisp with solid clean malty flavours featuring most. Only a little herbal notes in the finish. Overall somewhat dry, light to medium bodied, slick palate. Very drinkable, clean German beer - no mistakes but no variance either.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Copper color with 1 finger white head. Aroma of malt , toast. Taste is light sweet and quite drinkable. Light body, watery texture, soft to average carbonation. Not bad but I was expecting more.

Pours out of the bottle in a clear deep amber colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of vanilla and caramel. Taste of mild hops, grains, caramel, honey, hay and flowers. Easy to drink yet not that nice like expected or hoped. Okay.

Erwartungen gewohnt hoch, da es eben win Weltenburger ist. Jedoch ist es einfach nicht füllig genug. Karamell und Malz können alle, daher einfach nur solide.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Quite like any regular lager but a bit darker and with a spiced twist. Only barely noticeable in the aroma since the taste is nothing special. But hey, it’s cheap and comes in large format (0’5L) so why not?

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: JAN 26, 2008 Bottle (BB Feb 09). Head is initially small, frothy, off-white, mostly diminishing. Body is light amber. Aroma is moderately malty (toasted bread, malt syrup, cookie, husks), lightly hoppy (flowers), with a note of peach. Flavor is moderately sweet, lightly bitter. Finish is lightly sweet, lightly to moderately bitter. Medium body, creamy texture, soft carbonation. A tired, rough, uninspiring example. The brewers seem to just be phoning this in.

Medium god pour. Little to no head. Very malty/sweet flavor. Not much to it past that though.
