2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 pivo (2540) - GERMANY - FEB 23, 2004
Gum-drop and honey nose with some hay mixed in, clrea crisp amber, low scumy head. CAramelly and grainy body with a dry dirty finish. Odd blend. Rough and raw around the edges. Overall to terrible successful.

Bottled: Light amber color, little lazyer of a head, lively carbonation. Clay, cereal nose, malty, roasted cereal taste.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20 Maria (9562) - Thisted, DENMARK - FEB 1, 2008
Warm amber with a nice head. The aroma is malty with notes of grain and caramel. The flavour is malty, slightly sweet with notes of grain and caramel and a light bitterness. Perhaps a bit monotonous, but OK. 2026

Ah, not that impressive a beer, poured an amber light brown color, not really red or copper in there. Head was normal, lacing weak. Aroma was not pleasant, really metallic (yes in the aroma) and maybe some odd chemicals in there with some grass and herbal notes. The flavor was biscuity, grassy, caramel, herbs, faint metallic notes. Mouthfeel was moderate and carbonated. Why this is a vienna is beyond me. A weak beer, needed more nuts and bread and toastiness to score higher for me.

Pours a clear amber color with a white, rocky head. Aroma is of sweet candy. Not a substantial body, thin for a winter offering. Sweet, malty character, faint caramel, not very complex. Avoid.
2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Kinz (2968) - Glen Allen, Virginia, USA - DEC 17, 2005
Light copper, quickly fading small head. Aroma was mostly caramel, a tinge of lemongrass. Flavor matched. A bit watery, and the touch of sourness was unappealing. Malt driven flavors, but not ones that I enjoyed.

Pour is a dark brown with a small white head. Aroma is malts but had a very horrible chemical smell as well. Flavor is malty but even the malts really don’t stand out. Not a very good beer if you looking for taste and aroma, and why would you look for beer with anything else?
