500ml bottle. Some cereal and malty aromas. Pours bright gold, quite clear, with nice whte head, vanishing, some lacework, Light body, medium carbonation, almost oily texture. Taste is cereal, kind of sweet, refreshing, quaffable.

(Keg at Weltenburger am Dom, 20130515) The beer poured golden and clear. Its head eas medium sized long lasting and white. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, malts, grain, fruitiness and bitterness. Aftertaste was bitter. A decent Helleså

Typical Helles with some malty freshness and bit spicy in the taste. Honestly said I expected way more Weltenburger as they are really to respect. Maybe the next time with their more darker and more malty oriented piwos.

McTapps (1623) - Ruhrgebiet, GERMANY - MAY 12, 2013
Light golden colour with low but steady head and medium body. Nose of malt and ripe grains. Taste of just like any other Dortmunder/Helles (mild hops, mild grains, white bread, straw, gentle citrus fruits) but there is a certain deepness in the taste I really liked end enjoyed. Very dry finish, slight bitter. Really good one of this style.

Nothing great here. Bland and watery with no head nor carbonation. Sweet and grainy like a eastern european lager with a touch of hops. Dull.

500 ml bottle. From mein-biershop.de.
Clear pale golden colour with small dense white head. Very malty aroma with some caramel sweetness. Flavour is malt, mild harsh bitterness and... hmm... that’s it. There’s nothing wrong with this. It’s just boring.
