3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Cask conditioned at a Wetherspoons. Hazed straw to gold with white head. Another thin palate to a beer in this festival, light, some sweetness with a fruity light lemon background more fairy liquid lemon than fresh. It’s ok I reckon.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cask handpull, The Felix (JDW), Nuneaton, 13/11/12. Brilliant gold under a slim moussey collar. Peppery chocolate orange nose pushing an 8. Firm malty body with lovely flowery, tangerine and galangal hop accents backed with solid but unobtrusive malt. Summery more than autumnal. Stillish, soft carbonation. Very nice.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Attractive bronze/brown colour. Mainly malty, a bit of fruit with some tangy hop notes coming through late. Reasonably dry. These malty Autumnal bitters aren’t my favourites, but this was proficiently made, if uninspiring. Cask (handpump) at the Magpie and Crown, Brentford.
