Somewhat sharp fruitiness initially but seemed to disappear through the pint. Fairly nondescript bitter with lots of grassy hops.

Cask (handpump) at the Shakespeares Head (JDW), Holborn, August 2009. Fairly pale for a bitter - gold rather than amber. Good condition. Some grassy hops in the aroma. Dry and fairly bitter on the palate. Not packed with flavour. Clean enough mouthfeel. OK but a bit nondescript really. - a fairly basic bitter.

27th May 2008. Light clear beer. Quite malty but an over dry finish. A little hop at the end.

Clear medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, moderate hoppy, citrus, grapefruit, orange. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090803]

Golden with a small white head. Grass and citrus hop aroma with som malt. Sweet and malty flavour, quite bitter

Cask in the market porter. Alround rating: Pale malts, grassy bittering home some yeasty easters that are a touch dusty. Boring stuff.

Handpulled cask at JDW Harrow. Light gold with slowly settling creamy head. Very fresh tasting well balanced bitterwith lasting hoppy finish.

[cask at Back of Beyond, Reading] Rough as you like gutrot ale. Very bitter and earthy with overtones of musty straw. Struggled to drink even a third of a pint. Is this student homebrew designed as a brewery beer?
