Cask-conditioned at the Commercial Rooms (JDW), Bristol 30/3/08. Deep golden colour with a moderate white head. Aroma of sweet malt and grassy hops. Flavour had some more sweetness, along with ginger and nutmeg spices and a decent dry finish. Drinkable.

A Mes rate: Gravicask at Sussex Beer Festival.
Golden brown colour with a thin white rim. Nice balance of malt and hops in the aroma with a delicate sweetness and slight bready notes. Similar flavour, a little bland but with a nice ginger spice note on a dry finish. So so.

Pint pulled at the JDW Railway in Putney (London), a clear amber with a foamy white head. A flowery hop aroma. A good light bitterness on the palate combined with a strong hoppy flavour. A good solid bitter.
