Nice balance of malt and hops in the aroma with a delicate sweetness and slight bready notes. Similar flavour, a little bland but with a nice ginger spice note on a dry finish. [2.9] TheGrandMaster (1846), Auckland, New Zealand Mar 22, 2007 Pint pulled at the JDW Railway in Putney (London), a clear amber with a foamy white head. A flowery hop aroma. A good light bitterness on the palate combined with a strong hoppy flavour. A good solid bitter.
