Juicy orange in color, full, pillow-like white head. Has a bit of a juicy, hoppy bite, more sour on the back, with a bit of a gritty, spoiled celery flavor. Nose is slightly hoppy, with some orange juice citrus and bean sprouts/celery scents that take too much away. A bit of a mess. DJMonarch (6845), Northwich, Cheshire, England

Amber/ginger colour, no head and a bit dull looking. Mineral, earthy qualities to the flavour (otherwise known as pond water). Confused malts bounce about with no cohesion. Not a special beer on this occasion. [5,2,5,2,10]
Re-Rated. Cask Conditioned at the Black Jug, Horsham, UK. Straw yellow, with speckled off-white head. Hoppy bitter with slightly more hop flavour than the usual Weltons offering. Served just a few miles from the brewery it was fresher and brighter then previously tried. Rating increased. Joeh (1908), Buckinghamshire, England
