From cask at Euston Tap. Pours hazy yellow with a small white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light fruity. Toasted malty, fruity and rather bitter to dry. Ends dry, bitter and light malty.

Cask @ Volunteer Arms, GBBF 2011. Pours a pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty weak hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy flavor with hints of caramel. Has a dry malty weak hoppy finish.

[cask at GBBF 2009] The tasting notes in the GBBF guide suggested that some people mistake the abv of this one at 4%. Well not me – it’s weak, insipid and extremely bland. Refreshing, I’ll give them that – but with no aftertaste it’s just watery and mild. Being served totally flat didn’t help. Maybe I caught this on a bad day [06082009]

Golden with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and grassy with ahint of diacetyl. Caramel and diacetyl dominate the flavour with a slightly bitter finish

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.
Clear medium yellow / orange amber color with a average, frothy to creamy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, fruity, moderate hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and sour bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask Handpump at the GBBF, Earl’s Court 07/08/2009 Some fruit aroma. Golden coloured fruity and a little bitter with a sharp finish.

Cask at the Wenlock Arms on 19th Sept 2009. Amber with lasting frothy white head giving fair amount of lacing. Doughy yeast aroma. Sharp bitter lick then citrus finish which is short lived. Although on bland side it does very well for only 2.8% ABV.

Cask@GBBF2009. Deeo golden colour, small white head. Aroma is peas, cooked vegetables, some wood and fruits. Flavour is the same. Horror.
