2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Cask gravity at Cambridge BF 08. Very dark borwn thin beige head. I would say diacetyl. Rest of the beer is a bit thin to be honest. Not much of a stout. No great depth. bit of chalky roasted malt. Not great.

2.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Gravity cask at the Battersea Beer Festival, 6th Feb 2008. Very dark brown in appearance. Smells like a tea urn (!) with a little bit of roasted coffee too. Very little to the flavour - maybe a bit of roasted malt. Ditto the palate - simply too thin. Poor overall.
