Probably a bad cask, but this was weak and very watery from Spoons in Scarborough.

Boring pale ale. Doesn’t zing but isn’t rank - some kind of beer black hole

Cask conditioned Handpump Malt Shovel Northampton. A bright gold coloured beer with a slurp of whitish head. A citrussy aroma and taste but it’s a bit harsh. I thought this had Amarillo but it states Cascade and Fuggles which is a strange combo indeed. has spicy edges to it. Fairly bitter. A bit disjointed.

500 ml bottle. From King’s Lynn, England.
Hazy pale yellow colour with small to average white head. Banana sweetness, dry wheaty malt and some interesting dry fruitiness in aroma. Dry fruity hops in rather mild flavour. Drinkable.

Cask, The Plough, Chelmsford, Nicholson’s Real Ale Festival White lacing, bronze-golden colour, aroma is citrus, lemons, hey, moderately hoppy. Taste is oranges, mango, citrus, lots of oil and cream and really drinkable. Pleasant IPA. More hops though PLEASE. Can notice the Cascade but i’m gasping for more.

Pours gold with a white head. Smells of citrus and bread. Tastes earthy with some grassy elements and a dry, peppery finish.

Hand pulled at Penny Blacks, Birmingham. Pale yellow, with lacing. Light, lemony golden. Some subtle citrus hop. Pleasant in some ways, though a little dishwatery and weak willed. Malt in the aftertaste. Generally drinkable, perhaps needed to be a bit colder.
