This is pretty tasty as well. Flavor is standard pils fare, some bite, but not quite as crisp as the Wurzburg pils. Simple but good.

It’s golden with a creamy, white and lasting head. The aroma is mild with notes of malt, straw and light flower. The flavour has a light sweetness and notes of malt, bread, straw, light flower and the finish is dry with a touch of straw and a light bitterness.

Swingtop bottle. High fluffy lasting white head. Clear light yellow body. Good malty grass hops aroma. Mild dry malt hay grass flavor with a fair hops bitterness. Low carbonation. Short aftertaste.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Pale golden color. Malty slightly papery aroma with herbal-peppery hops. Dry malty, honeyish slightly papery flavor with medium bitterness. Very honeyish. Tastes somewhat old.

Bottle. Nice balanced malt and hops aroma. Golden yellow clear color with decent head. Strong hops flavor - only slight malt. Good body. A more hoppy German pilsener.

Tap, at the former Russenbräu Tiefenbach. Biergarten. Only a slight malty aroma. Malty flavor, but with a firm hopbitterness. A bit oily and hay-like. Nice Franconian pilsener.
