Typical pils hop aroma and taste. Very decent brew for only $4.49/6pack at Aldi.

Poured light yellow with mild carbonation and a large white head. Aroma has smooth malt, creamy, light corn and some saaz hops. Light body with nice sharp carbonation. Starts with smoothness of the malt - bit of a veggie taste. Finish has some spice to it. The veggie taste goes away further down the glass. Very drinkable pils, not mind blowing, but good.

Canette de 500 ml. Couleur jaune paille claire, peu de collet. Arome faible d’herbe, presque pas de malte. Goût assé simple de malte, rien d’impossant mais ni d’impressionnant.

[Draught at Schindler’s Tankstelle, Beijing] Clear pale golden, dense head. Rich grassy, spicy hop aroma. Dry and crisp with clean mouthfeel and firm, light body. Salty, bitter finish. Good thirst quencher.

Light straw in colour, fine white coloured head, good lacing. The aroma is of pale malts, grassy hops, wheat, mildly sweet. The flavour is moderatly hopped (grassy, floral), wheaty, grainy, crisp. Bitter mouthfeel, light body, medium carbonation. Finishes with a long bitterness, floral, light sweetness. Not to bad, clean and refreshing.

500ml can from the <a href=http://www.lcbo.com/ target=blank>LCBO in Peterborough, Ontario. Best Before April 2007.

Tried this one from the bottle at a small café just affront our hostel in Berlin, Germany.
Poured a vibrant and bright, yellowy gold with a nicely formed, smooth and dense white crown that held out and legged it down the glass. Ultra spicy nose, very peppery and dry with a nice showing of pale, fresh malts. Dry, sourish malts in the mouth, good base of chaff underlies it with a lovely showing of noble hops in back. It is spicy and presents itself well as it goes. Nice apex of grassy, earthy hops before a bitter climax that is clean and crisp with aid of the carbonation. It’s delicate overall, nicely balanced and refreshing. I quite liked this one. Easily session-making. Could have gone another but beer in Berlin was so cheap. Why limit oneself!(50cL, BBE 11/06)

Found this bottled at an Aldi grocery store in Batavia, Illinois. Poured pale straw in color, very slightly cloudy and a bit bubbly with a thick, white head. Nose of sweet bread and mown hay, actually fairly good pilsener, with a nice balance of sweetness in malts and dry hops, but with a very potent alcoholic aftertaste that is strong and unpleasant. Finishes clean. For my first Aldi beer, I’m impressed and will try more.
