Starts sweet for a Pils, finishes herby. Flat. Could be called watery. Aftertaste is almost funky, have to strain to find it, though. Not a bad Pils. Wiseblood (658), Clarksville, Tennessee, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Nov 22, 2005 Very light yellow with a big white head. Aromas of straw, hops and background malts. Sweet malt flavors are evident at first, but are soon followed by herbal German hops. Slightly dry, with a good pilsener aftertaste. BeerMountie (106), Bonavista, Newfoundland, Canada
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 14, 2005 500 ml can. Pours a very light yellor colour, has a thick white head which quickly disappears leaving a thin white ring, very little lacing. Light malty aroma. I like the taste of this beer and would look for it again. The main compliant I have with this beer is that it tastes waterdown to me. As crisp as a virgin highland spring but with the gravitas of a spartan warrior. Rich colour for a pilsener and a daintily frothy head. One must only buy from a reputable purveyor though, preferably on a balmy summer’s afternoon. collieman (191), montreal, Quebec, Canada
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Oct 19, 2005 I like it. I normaly hate anything of the blond lager varitie, but this is REALY good. Pours a REALY pale sunshine yellow, with a thin long lasting fizzy head, no lacing, with a mild carbonation leading to a thin fizzy body, very refreshing. Aroma is very lightly malty, with some mild bitter hops, a trace of citris zest and a very crisp note of pale honey. The taste is very crisp with a light clean malty nose, and a crisp blend of noble hops creating both a bitter spicy flavour with light and clean floral notes as a perfect acompaniment . Undertones include sweet grass, light breadyness, some biscuit and a trace of dark honey. Aftertaste is crisp treefruit and a light malty touch with a single splash of bitter in the finaly. Lovley, probably the best lawnmower beer I’ve had in a while. Lovley to see all these new beers in the montreal stores, alot of them are great, but I’m still waiting for something other than great lagers, still no ipa’s, no bitters. Soon to come. Well, enjoy, CHEERS twindadplus2 (419), Wisconsin, USA

Flavor is light, pale malt and grassy hops. Soft, light and very crisp and refreshing. This was surprisingly decent for the price. JoeMcPhee (5056), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 12, 2005 500 ml can. Very pale golden colour with a thin white head. Aroma shows clean pale malt and nice floral hop aroma. Flavour is very good, crisp pale malt, some slight bready and honeyish aromas come through as well. Fresh malt flavour with some light hay flavour. I’d like to see it with more bitterness, but it has a nice soft mouthfeel and a well balanced flavour. A few more aroma hops would also be appreciated, but this is probably one of the better pils I’ve had from a can. HogTownHarry (4037), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 10, 2005 Can (500ml). Poured like slightly bubbly slightly hazy apple juice, with a very large creamy white lasting head. Aroma is not too bad, corn, some adjuncts, but there’s a honey/clover component that helps off-set the vegetal funkiness. Taste is like a good euro pils with some honey to balance the usual burnt flour harshness. Moutfeel is typical for the style - light, a bit harsh - for what it is it’s pretty decent.
