UPDATED: MAY 14, 2014 500 ml can from LCBO. Very pale yellow with thin white head. Good lager smells, grainy malt and hops. Tastes a bit fruity, mild bitterness, watery, kinda weak. Unoffensive but bland.

Draught @ Brandenburger Tor: Yellow coloured. Unclear. Dense off white head. Aroma. grass, herbs, sweetness, light grain. Flavour. Quite grassy and grainy. Has light sweetness and a light citric touch. Medium bodied. Ends herbal bitter.

500 ml can. Pours a clear straw/yellow with full white head. Aromas of grain and bread. Flavors are sharp grain/hay, toast, and dusty malts. Light bitter finish.

Pour from can, lively light gold color liquid with adequate head that flattens fast. Smell metal, and taste accordingly with somewhat alcohol like aftertaste. Not a great pilsener in my opinion.

Tried this beer last Halloween and I was very impressed with the taste! A traditional pilsner beer. I really liked the bitterness and the aftertaste. Poured golden yellow, dissipating head, long lasting lacing. Overall this was great!

500ml can. It is a traditional pils with a large amount of malty sweetness so you can feel slightly hoppy. But there are hop with grassy hint at the end of all gulps. Foam is long-lasting, small-bubbling. Nice work!

11.2oz bottle, thanks to Jay. Clear golden color. Thin white head, with decent retention. Leaves pretty good lace. Looks pretty decent. Flavor is not bad. Soggy crusty bread, pilsner malts, light pepper. Very little skunk or unwelcome off flavors, maybe just a very slight bit of metallic. Moderate sweet taste, light bit of bitterness, and just a very light nice bit of lagery bite. Medium body.Kinda slick. Smooth, light carbonation. Surprisingly approachable, decent pils.

UPDATED: FEB 19, 2014 Vom Faß im Ratskeller Köpenick. - Strohgelb, blank. In der Nase Noten von Petersilie. Im Antrunk frisch-zitroniger Hopfen. Mild rezent, fein perlend. Leichte Fehlaromen wie von Schweineschmalz (alter Hopfen?). Zarte Malzsüße. Appetitlich trocken, leicht chininartig.

From Aldi. Quickly dissipating head gives way to lasting lacing on the glass. Well done here. Taste is noticeable Noble hops and adequate crispness. As others have noted, there is a slightly invasive level of sweetness that knocks this beer just a bit out of balance; otherwise this could be an excellent German Pils. Overall, pretty decent, and a really good find for $7 a six.
