Bottle: Very pale yellow coloured, big fluffy head, rather long lasting; floral hoppy aroma, some malty notes in the background; mild bitter-sweet flavour, only slightly bitter finish; thin bodied, quaffable, but a bit watery. Not a real goodie.....

In the 500 ml bottle. Some dude brought this to Sam & Heather’s birthday party. Pours a deep gold with a substantial white head. Smells like a german bier. Has a great straw and hop aroma. Good malty taste with a strong enough hop finish to proclaim a little grapefruit. Way better than the keg of Butt Lite at the party.

Pours a pale yellow with medium head. Good hop presence, nice mouthfeel - not too acidic. Very good beer for the price.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful, pale golden pilsener. Nice, floral nose and a malty, slightly sweetish body - not unlike Czech pilseners. good one. 260499

Pale, pale yellow with sharp effervescence and an initially large white head that ends scummy. Grassy aromas with bread dough... slighty sour. Flavor held an herbal bitterness. Very smooth (almost creamy) mouthfeel with a dry ending, mildly astringent.

Very light straw color with a fluffy white head. Aroma of hops with a malt undertone. Mild malty flavor with a fairly long dry finish. A nice pils.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2005 500ml euro-can (import). Put a pale straw colored lager in my Pilsner flute....moderate head but good lacing on the glass sides. Moderate carbonation. This German Pils has a good/different aroma...instead of the expected Saaz floral bouquet we get a deep blast of herbal-musty German hop varieties over a sweet bready undertone...very nice. As a Pils hound my palate is over worked with the expected Bohemian/Czech profile pils... I’m beginning to be more partial to the Northern German Pilsners...this one did not disappoint....good biscuity malt spine balanced with the marvelous blend of herbal German hop varieties one would expect in a rich Marzen...I like the mix...this is a very good, and well made, Pilsner...fresh refreshing slightly dry but with enormous taste.

Light straw color with a wispy white head. Herbal and grassy noble hops, a touch to grassy and quite weak in the malt nose. Dry malt and a decent floral hops balance. A decent mid echelon pils.

The Aroma is not the most appealing but definitely not too bad. I have never liked pilsner beer, especially Labatt Blue..but this beer seems to have a smooth pilsner flavor that is not over powering and it does not leave an overpowering after-taste. If you like Pilsner beer than I recommend this beer over Molson and Labatt! Surprised that this beer came from Aldis, I was worried it was going to taste like skunk urine! But i was wrong. Cheers

Clear yellow colour with frothy white head. It is a well made (northern style) german Pilsener, which is available throughout Germany. Medium bodied, hoppy dry taste with spicy crispy finish. One of the better average Pilseners.
