UPDATED: MAR 6, 2006 Nice aroma, kind of grassy, herbal -- pleasant. Flavor is semi-sweet but balanced with some hops, great dry/crisp finish which makes you want another and another. A great value for the price.

Pale yellow beer with a white head. Malty and sweet aroma with a faint hoppyness. Sweet malty flavor with a grassy bitterness in the finish.

Bottle from Aldi. A fluffy hopped spritzy lager. Quite drinkable and with some lager hop bitterness. Quite cheap. Nothing special. Malt is fairly ugly - grainy and wheaty, and the carbonation a bit excessive for my taste. The hops are the main attraction, but they are a bit old tasting. I like Pilsners when they are fresh and unfiltered, but I don’t find them attractive when left to go stale in a bottle.

Bottle. Pale beer with a frothy head. The aroma is light and wheaty and the flavour is light, smooth and mainly sweet with a slightly dry edge. Overall an average beer.

Bottle. Beautiful, pale golden pilsener with a nice head. Herbal and malty aroma. Nice soft mouthfeel and a well balanced flavour. Mild, crisp bitterness and full body. Nice aftertaste.

Bottle. Sweet malt aroma. Pale yellow color with little head. Slightly sweet malt flavor with moderate hops - a bit skunky. Decent body. An extreme bargain at Aldi’s in US for $4 a sixer.

Very light yellow with a minimal white fizzy head. This is a fresh-tasting, pleasantly hopped beer. More hops would be nice. If this is in the 82nd percentile of pilseners, perhaps pilsener beer is just not my style.

Bottle. Light yellow pour, very white, frothy head. Thin, pale, and malty. Starts sweet for a Pils, finishes herby. Flat. Could be called watery. Aftertaste is almost funky, have to strain to find it, though. Not a bad Pils.

Very light yellow with a big white head. Aromas of straw, hops and background malts. Sweet malt flavors are evident at first, but are soon followed by herbal German hops. Slightly dry, with a good pilsener aftertaste.

500 ml can. Pours a very light yellor colour, has a thick white head which quickly disappears leaving a thin white ring, very little lacing. Light malty aroma. I like the taste of this beer and would look for it again. The main compliant I have with this beer is that it tastes waterdown to me.
