3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Canned - 500ml. Pale blond carbonated body with lasting head. Fresh hoppy and flowery nose. Delicious hoppy taste. Final is nice, long and bitter. I also used to drink it on tap in Cottbus and it is even better! Excellent german pils!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
UPDATED: SEP 22, 2004 Medium gold color, modest head and scant lacing. Mild skunky aroma on opening that mostly dissipated leaving some malt and herbal hops on the nose. Light to medium in body, this was a dry bitter beer, hoppy as Jever maybe but without the balance of that brew. Not bad really even though it's probably not the freshest beer in the world, and it easily has more character than say Beck's etc.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Light gold with a loose head of white foam. Aromas are bitter hops that are almost metallic. Flavours are also quite hoppy, quite oily hops with not much in the way of malts. There was some fruity twang at the end of the mouthful. Petrol-like bitterness finishes off this decent pilsner.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Good beer. It does have a slight bitter taste to it. Not really my style of beer but drinkable never the less.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
A light yellow beer with a white head. Both the aroma and flavor is nicely hoppy with notes of grass and very fresh. The end is dry and hoppy. An OK pilsener.

3.4 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Rai Wines, Harborne, Birmingham. Wonderful aroma - pine, moss and sweet specks of malt. Very pale pils, with a delicate fizz and a bubble bath head. Watery refreshment, bookended by some bitterness to start and a peppery, sour finish. Pretty full and cohesive, one of the better Pils and a nice untaxing beer.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Draught at Zum Hecht, Charlottenburg, Berlin.
Pale golden with a steady head. Hay-like malt flavour, somewhat watery and almost no bitterness but still not that bad.
