Looking forward to having this on draft! Pours a clear yellow with a nice light white head. Quite well carbonated, but not overly. Nice European beer aroma. Crisp malty flavor with a hint of hops, somewhat light and dry. Very easy to drink, good session beer!

Clean light golden with frothy white head. Very clean taste, crisp, with moderate bitterness. Heavy carbonation which ruins the otherwise decent yet boring beer. Really too much bubbles. Makes it hard to finish the large bottle. (50cl bottle from Rewe supermarket)

Bottle. Pours clear pale golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and hops with a touch of grain and paper. Bitter, hoppy flavour with a touch of yeast and a very distinct but not entriely unpleasant note of paper. Cardboardlike and bitter finish. OK but rather anonymous. I have no idea why it is called a pils legend on the label.

Can from random getränkemarkt. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma is sweet, malty and moderate hoppy - straw. Flavor is medium sweet and moderate bitter. Dry and moderate bitter finish. Refreshing. Excellent for an industrial lager. 200713

This is a pilsener that pours a pale clear gold colour with a nice white head. The aroma is balanced with both malt and hoppish tones and some citrus tones in back. The flavour is pretty well balanced too, a nice frontal assault on the tongue with some malty flavour followed by the bitter backlash of the hops. The aftertaste was hardly noticeable with this beer.

UPDATED: APR 12, 2014 Not very appealing beer. Tastes mostly like liquid bread with a very strange aftertaste.

I like all Pils beer. I was drinking Bitburger for years, but the price jumped to $16.50 for a 12 pack. I tried this beer from Aldi’s and found it to taste very close to Bitburger and less than half the price.

50cl bottle from some beer store in Gräfelfing. Pours a crystal clear, pale straw colored body with a finger-width, frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a moderate lacing. Aroma is lightly sweetened, bready pils malts with some DMS, touches of fruit, and maybe a hint of hay. Flavor is similar. Somewhat grainy, lightly sweetened pils malts with touches of bread, some DMS, light fruit notes, hay, and a slight metallic hint. Finishes dry and lightly bitter before leaving a medium length aftertaste. Light body and a moderately lively carbonation. Overall, a pretty blah pils. A bit too much DMS on the nose and a pretty average flavor. Not terrible, but eh.
