The best beer in Germany ever! Good taste, aroma and style. Also the lemon is one of the best i’ve ever seen.

I love this beer. I buy it at Aldi for only $5.99. One of the best beers I have had the pleasure to enjoy.

My favourite pilsener. The aroma has a light lemon taste, refreshing, a modern style pilsener.

An outstanding nectar! As crisp as a virgin highland spring but with the gravitas of a spartan warrior. Rich colour for a pilsener and a daintily frothy head. One must only buy from a reputable purveyor though, preferably on a balmy summer’s afternoon.

A very classic, very good pilsner - enjoyable every time. Quite bitter, but that should be that way in a classic pilsner.

Was very excited to find this in Bondi yesterday. It’s so pale it’s almost green. Buttery, pistachio-nut malt flavours, with a slight saltiness, and fresh, herbal, very bitter, and slightly berry-like hoppiness, with a trace of wood and vanilla in the finish. I love this sort of beer.

Very well made. It used to be a very good example of the east-german style, but has been changed a little over the last years to be more ’modern’. But it’s still one of Germanys best.

Pours a pale yellow with medium head. Good hop presence, nice mouthfeel - not too acidic. Very good beer for the price.
